A private profile on Myspace means that person doesn't want strangers/people they don't know looking at their profile. You have to send a friend request to that person. If they deny you, well, you can't see that profile.

you can't see their profile unless you send a friend request to be their friend and they add you, then you can see their profile. I have mine on private for that very reason, I dont want people I dont know and certain people seeing my profile or stalking my profile. Sometimes people take it off private, check back later.

There are new hacks all the time but they are watched carefully by myspace and often get patched within a few days of being published. The last one I used was http://editprofile.myspace.com/index.cfm... (you add in their friend ID where the X's are). I very much doubt this one is working anymore but if you regularly check sites like grownupgeek.com and joyboner.com they are often the first sites to publish new codes.
