I am not their myspace friend, why can I see their private page?

I tried to view private myspace profiles without logging into mysapce, and I could not get through, the screen said, this user's profile is private, they must add you as a friend to view the page, but when I signed in to myspace, I was able to view those private pages, without even being added as their friend?

Why is this? Can anyone that is signed into myspace view private profiles, without being added as friends?

Because you have to be signed in to see peoples profiles, but some have it public, so everyone could view...or your added as their friend and you might not know

They could have had it set to where you had to be under 18 to see it, therefore it blocks everyone who's not logged in.

It's just the way Myspace set their user limitations. You can't see someone's entire photos if you are not added as a their friend. Even some people who are friends of other users can be prevented from seeing their (the owner of the profile's) pics.

So the answer is, NO I cant view your pics if I am not logged on and NO I can't view your pics if I am logged on but was not added by you as a friend.

I have the same question!! I sent it to myspace itself to see whats up. Because the girl whose myspace i can view would no way send a friend request to me and no way i would accept it but i noticed if im logged into my own account I can view her profile but if my friend logs into their own account or if im not logged in when i go to look at her page it gives my the profile set to private What gives??
